Through Love, Serve One Another

Day one of the challenge proved to be a little more challenging than I had anticipated.  When faced with an opportunity to be negative, I gave in and complained when I should have held my tongue.  But today is a new day, a fresh start....and my determination is stronger today than it was yesterday. 

Today's challenge is to find a way that your husband is serving you or your family and to praise him for his willingness to serve in that area. 

This one is easy...I'm horrible at keeping the laundry under control.  I don't mind doing it when it's manageable and under control but the minute I get behind I stop doing it and it piles up mile high.  Recently my hubby offered to wash, dry and fold the laundry if I would put it away.  DEAL!  So even though I don't always like the way he does the laundry, it's getting done and I'm not having to do it.  I'm going to try to remember not to complain when he does it how I don't like and just be very thankful to him that he does the laundry for me.

The challenge encourages you to buy a small gift or token of your appreciation for your husband.  I still can't get out of my house, so I think instead I'll get busy making sure my house is spotless from top to bottom when he gets home.  Who knows, maybe I'll even get a couple loads of laundry done.
