The Cleaning Game

I'm ashamed to admit that I've put off cleaning my house since ughhh....Thursday of last week....and needless to say it can't be avoided any longer.  My kids have zero motivation to do housework today so I turned it into a game.  They get to choose between two rooms, one of which I have marked as the prize room.  They don't know which room is the prize room but mommy does.  I have clues written on our school marker board and they can look at the clues and decide which of the two rooms they think will hold the prize.  They then decide together which room will be cleaned first in hopes of it being the prize room.  Then once both rooms are cleaned they get to find out which room the prize was in.  If the room they chose to do first is the prize room, they also get a sticker for solving the clue.  Prizes are fruit snacks, a piece of candy, 15 minutes of Wii time, etc.... It's made them excited to clean today.  I'm all about bribery. LOL Whatever works to get the job done without complaining.
